Tagging is a new way to categorize relevant information on the web without involving search engines.

People and not search engines are in control of content that is associated with a tag.

Search engines don’t rank according to tags but many sites (especially the Social Bookmarking sites) use tags to organize their content.

And unlike Seach engines, your articles are not penalized for using your keyword over and over.

Many people choose to use these Social Bookmarking sites because they are organized by people for people. And these social bookmarking sites get hundreds of thousands of visitors everyday.

So what is a tag. A tag is a simple but brief description of what the content within that tag is about. For example, I could categorize a blog article under the tag “Fishing”. I then could ping a site like Technorati.com with my new blog article.

Technorati.com will immediately visit my new blog post and place me in the number one position under the tag “Fishing”.

Then let’s say someone does a search at Technorati.com on “Fishing”.

Then my blog post would appear at the top of the search results under the tag “Fishing” in Technorati until someone else writes a blog post under the same tag then you move down one spot.

The more popular the tag the faster your post will move down the list.

Now here is the most important part.

A “hot” tag can quickly drive loads targeted traffic to your blog. This may result in an increase in Adsense clicks at your blogs or even an increase in sales if you have links leading to your product or even affiliate products.

The possibilities and endless.

Tagging and Pinging is a very effective way to get free traffic. Lets learn more about getting free traffic from the eBook, TAGGING SECRETS.

For one thing, It is very well written.

And there is a section which shows how to smartly tag your blog posts for getting your links on high traffic page of Technorati.

Using this single trick alone can get you good traffic to your website without making you wait forever for the search engines.

TAGGING SECRETS will show you techniques for getting traffic to your blog. It is not a guide about blogging basics or how to use RSS etc… It does not show you how to get affiliate sales, use adsense ads or make tons of money from product sales.

That’s up to you to monetize the traffic you receive from the TAGGING SECRETS techniques you learn. You can do that with excellent copywriting for your products, services, or smart placement of your adsense ads.

TAGGING SECRETS is highly recommended if you are interested in learning how to get tons of traffic to your blogs using the new tag and ping techniques.
